Gordon Holloway - Abbotsford Police Board

Gordon was appointed to the Abbotsford Police Board in July 2022 and was subsequently appointed to the British Columbia Association of Police Boards (BCAPB).  A Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA), Gordon brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience as an assurance partner with several prominent accounting firms.

Following his retirement from public practice in 2013, Gordon has continued to provide strategic advisory services to family enterprises and entrepreneurial organizations, specializing in finance, governance, succession planning, and organizational structure.

Gordon has an extensive record of board and governance experience, including serving for five years as a member of the BC Securities Commission.  Within the Abbotsford Police Board, he serves as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee, providing leadership and oversight on governance, strategic priorities, and fiscal stewardship. He remains actively engaged in community service through his ongoing involvement with numerous boards and committees.

In recognition of his significant contributions to the accounting profession and the broader community, Gordon has awarded the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.

A resident of Abbotsford for more than 45 years, Gordon brings a strong understanding of the local community, combined with extensive governance, financial oversight, and strategic leadership expertise.
