Kevin Murdoch, Oak Bay Police Board

Kevin Murdoch has served as Chair of the Oak Bay Police Board since 2018 when he was elected Mayor of the District of Oak Bay. Mayor Murdoch is currently a Director for the Capital Regional District Board, the Capital Regional Housing Corporation Board, the Alliance to End Homelessness in the Capital Region Board, and the Victoria Regional Transit Commission. Mayor Murdoch currently serves as Chair for Integrated Police Unit Regional Governance Council, the Capital Regional Hospital District Board, and the Greater Victoria Labour Relations Association Board. Over the last 20 years Mayor Murdoch has served on over 20 Board and Committees, and completed his ICD Certification in Police Board Governance in 2020. Mayor Murdoch has worked in the Information Technology industry for over 25 years in both engineering and management roles.
